A preliminary map of sites for artisan and industrial archaeological sites is provided in an intermediate state of completion after recording approx. 10% of total sites collected so far. We are aware of the fact that new sites crop up continuously with evidences of crafts and industrial activities; features with evidences of craftsmanship, sometimes complete industrial sites or only finds, raw materials, tools and half-products testifying ancient crafts and industrial activities. In the preliminary selection of sites we draw attention to the widely diversified character of these sites. We are looking forward to include new data published and supplied and the contribution of experts from various periods and crafts. In the same time and manner we are working on full English language contents as well.
